Betsey Style Chandelier

So, I rearranged my dining room and realized a chandelier would be perfect above the table..... only there is no chandelier.

 I remembered I had a TON of these paper lanterns left over from our wedding reception!

So, I grouped them together hoping they would create a funky "betsey style" chandelier

Batterie-powered means it will be a fake chandelier, but it will still light up!!   :)

I hung them up many times to get the perfect arrangement

I attached it to the ceiling using a 3M hook. These things are amazing!

I wanted to hide the hemp string and give the lanterns a "finished" look. 

So, I sewed a tube of burlap and covered up the string and the 3M hook.

Ta-Da......  A Betsey Style Chandelier...

 Ya, I'm pretty happy with it!  And as always: $0.00 makes Betsey even happier!

And I think my table is even more happy than I am.  It had been telling me it wanted a chandelier as a friend.
